Especially at high frequencies, due to the strong ionization of these bubbles, the losses increase significantly and even lead to dielectric breakdown. If capacitors are made from mica plates rich in visible air bubbles, there is a danger of capacitor failure. In addition, due to the existence of air bubbles, the temperature coefficient of the dielectric constant of the mica plate increases.
