Three-point change of alumina insulating ceramic structural workpiece at high temperature

1. Creep, because the insulating alumina ceramic structure will be affected by external force under the condition of high temperature, then with the extension of time, there will be a slow and continuous plastic change, this phenomenon we can call it for creep. The creep of alumina ceramic structural parts is actually closely related to stress and temperature. When the stress increases or the temperature rises, the creep speed is also accelerated!

2. Graphitization and spheroidization, because graphite is relatively low in strength and mainly occurs in flakes, it will lead to a much lower strength of the material and an increase in brittleness, so we call it graphitization. ; Also in the case of high temperature, the structural parts of alumina ceramics will contain a large amount of cementite, so coarse-grained cementite will be formed, and it will also be directly mixed in ferrite. The cementite gradually changes from flake to spherical, so we call it spheroidization.

3. Performance after thermal fatigue, if the structural parts of alumina ceramics are kept in a working environment with alternating hot and cold for a long time, the error of the material itself will change due to thermal stress, and tiny cracks will gradually appear, eventually leading to rupture. If the product needs to work in an environment with large temperature fluctuations, it is necessary to consider thermal fatigue of the structural parts of alumina ceramics!
