The types of Alumina ceramics

Alumina ceramics are divided into high-purity type and ordinary type. High-purity type refers to ceramic materials with Al2O3 content above 99.9%. Ordinary type means that the Al2O3 content is divided into 99 alumina ceramics, 95 alumina ceramics, 90 alumina ceramics, 85 alumina ceramics and other varieties. Sometimes those with Al2O3 content of 80% or 75% are also classified as ordinary alumina ceramics. 99 alumina ceramics have good high temperature resistance, 99 alumina ceramic materials can be used to make high temperature crucibles, refractory furnace tubes and special wear-resistant materials, such as ceramic bearings, ceramic seals and water valve pieces, etc.
