How to connect the Furnace Heating Element Sic?
1.The heaters can be connected in parallel, series, or a mixture of the two. Parallel connections are ideal, and any small changes in the resistance of the rods tend to be uniform over time. However, in tandem mode, this variation tends to increase resulting in reduced rod life.
2.The resistance of sic heaters increase very slowly, and up to four rods can be connected in series if their resistance values are well matched. When the furnace temperature exceeds 1400 degrees, it is recommended to limit the number of connected silicon rods to two
