Product Description

Si3N4 Tube is a silicon nitride ceramic material, which is an inorganic material ceramic and does not shrink during sintering. It is generally gray cylindrical in appearance, with a smooth and burr-free surface. It has excellent wear resistance, impact way and friction way and good thermal shock resistance. Due to its excellent performance, it is widely used in electrical, electrothermal, electronic, petrochemical, metallurgical and other industries.

Si3N4 Tube is a super hard material with lubricity and wear resistance. It does not react with other inorganic acids except hydrofluoric acid, and has strong resistance to corrosion and high temperature oxidation. It is also resistant to hot and cold shocks, heats up to 1000 degrees or more in air, cools quickly, and then heats up quickly without breaking. In addition, the ceramic tube has excellent protection, impermeability and excellent precision. The service life can last for many years with regular maintenance.

Properties

Basic Nature

Many properties of silicon nitride are attributed to this structure. Pure Si3N4 is 3119, has two crystal structures of α and β, both of which are hexagonal crystals. Its decomposition temperature is 1800°C in air and 1850°C in 110MPa nitrogen. Si3N4 has low thermal expansion coefficient and high thermal conductivity, so it has excellent thermal shock resistance. The hot-pressed sintered silicon nitride will not crack after being heated to 1000°C and put into cold water. At not too high temperature, Si3N4 has high strength and impact resistance, but above 1200℃, it will be damaged with the increase of use time, and its strength will be reduced. Fatigue damage is more likely to occur above 1450℃, so Si3N4 The operating temperature generally does not exceed 1300°C. Since Si3N4 has a low theoretical density and is much lighter than steel and engineering super heat-resistant alloy steel, it is more appropriate to use Si3N4 ceramics instead of alloy steel in those places that require materials with high strength, low density, and high temperature resistance.
