Description
Alumina Ceramic Rod is mainly made of high quality alumina, and is made by the injection molding process. It can be drilled, slotted and grounded to meet the requirements of ventilation, winding and special assembly. It generally has a white cylindrical appearance with a smooth surface and no burrs. Because of its high density and good mechanical properties, it is widely used in chemical fiber, textile and chemical industries.
Main Property
Compared with traditional ceramic tubes, Alumina Ceramic Rod has low water absorption, more advanced process, lower cost, and higher brittleness. And it is weather resistant, adaptable to external climate, resistant to sunlight, acid rain, corrosion and stable performance. In addition, there is no need to add paint or protective layer on its surface and cutting edge, and it can be processed directly after finishing.

Processing
Alumina ceramic tubes are industrial alumina made from bauxite (Al2O3-3H2O) and hard alumina monohydrate. For Al2O3 with high purity requirements, it is usually prepared by chemical methods. The molding methods are mainly extrusion molding, isostatic molding, injection molding, dry pressing, and high-temperature calcination molding after injection, but they are different from ordinary ceramic tubes.
This composite ceramic material can greatly improve the hardness and strength of ceramic tubes by adding zirconia, silicon oxide, silicon nitride and other powder materials during the calcination process.
