MoSi2 heating element has unique high temperature oxidation resistance. Silicon molybdenum rod is a kind of resistance heating element made of molybdenum disilicide, and it is also a commonly used electric heating element. The advantages of silicon molybdenum rod electric heating elements are good temperature resistance, strong oxidation resistance, and long service life. They are commonly used in industrial production, especially for processes with higher working temperatures.
The resistance of the silicon molybdenum rod is related to its working temperature. During the heating process, the resistance of the silicon molybdenum rod will change and gradually increase with the increase of temperature. When the temperature is constant, the resistance of the silicon molybdenum rod will also stop increasing. And remain stable. If there is no abnormality in use, the resistance of the silicon molybdenum rod will not change due to the increase in use time, so it is possible to mix the new and old silicon molybdenum rods.
